What is means, is price gauging – automatic price gauging overnight. It is almost like someone flicked the switch and did not tell anyone. Come 1st July prices just increase instantly, actually they increased on Wednesday or Thursday a week before but shhh…. no-one was supposed to have noticed. Aldi put fruit and veggies prices up, Woolworths and Coles did too, funny that or is it. Profit gauging at its best or are they blaming the carbon tax – that is yet to come in – Who knows?
There are people who are like me, who watch every penny and shop from store to store and know the prices from week to week and also watch the specials intently, when instantaneously the major supermarkets put their prices up and all at once. Coincidence or is it? One will never know the real truth.
Is there any excuse for their profiteering?
